Surabaya, VIVA – Seorang presenter TV swasta berinisial GN berbagi pengalaman mengejutkan tentang dirinya yang menjadi korban casting abal-abal di Surabaya. Kejadian tersebut terjadi pada 2017, namun dalam unggahan media sosialnya, GN membeberkan kronologi kejadian tersebut dan mengungkapkan bahwa kasus ini ternyata masih memakan korban hingga kini.
Hal itu diketahui setelah salah satu korban mencarinya untuk memberikan informasi terkait casting abal-abal tersebut yang dianggap sudah masuk dalam kasus pelecehan seksual.
Kronologi Kejadian
GN menceritakan bahwa pada 2017 ia menerima undangan casting untuk menjadi model beberapa produk di sebuah apartemen di Surabaya Barat. Saat tiba di lokasi, ia bersama teman-temannya, tetapi hanya GN yang diminta naik ke unit apartemen sementara teman-temannya menunggu di lobi.
Di dalam apartemen, GN diminta mengganti pakaian untuk keperluan casting. Saat mengganti pakaian, ia curiga dengan benda yang tampak seperti kamera tersembunyi di sudut ruangan.

GN thought he had covered the camera with his clothes before leaving the room and changing in the bathroom. Little did he know, there was another camera in the bathroom secretly recording him.
“It felt like there was a camera lens, maybe a handycam. That’s when I started feeling uneasy and weird,” GN expressed in an interview with VIVA on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
Following the perpetrator’s directions, GN was asked to perform various scenes, such as standing in front of a green screen, striking specific poses, and pretending to suck on a lollipop on the balcony. Feeling anxious, he just wanted the session to end quickly.
“I was asked to portray sucking on a lollipop as if it was a product for an advertisement. He (the perpetrator) told me to laugh at the camera, then scream, and so on. I just wanted it to be over,” he recounted when he started feeling uncomfortable.
Spread of Videos and Other Victims
Some time later, GN was contacted by someone via Instagram who reminded him of the incident. He was shocked to find out that photos and videos of him from the casting had been circulating on the internet. Links containing hundreds of videos of victims, including GN, were allegedly being sold on Telegram and social media.
“These photos are spreading, not only photos but also links containing videos of us being unknowingly recorded,” he added.
GN mentioned that many other victims had experienced similar situations. Some victims even claimed they were asked to perform more extreme scenes in the apartment area, including at the swimming pool.
“According to their accounts, many victims were taken to the swimming pool to perform certain scenes, including undressing,” he shared the grievances of other victims.
Call to Report
In his post, GN urged other victims to report the incident. He requested information about the perpetrator so that further action could be taken. GN also mentioned that some victims who tried to report to the police were asked to pay a sum of money to process their cases, even though the evidence was clear.
“According to victims who have reported to the police, they have to pay a certain amount before their cases can be processed, even though there is clear evidence,” he stated.
Currently, the case is under investigation by the East Java Regional Police. GN hopes that the perpetrator will be apprehended soon to prevent further victims from falling prey to such acts of sexual harassment disguised as casting.
“This is a form of sexual harassment, please help us, thank you,” he concluded.
